Your “Type”

What type are you?

You’ve probably heard about the Myers-Briggs, or the DiSC profile personality type, however I love to use the Enneagram to measure personality traits, and here’s why.

Determining our personality type through the Enneagram does not put us in a box, but helps us see the box from which we experience the world. With this awareness, we can step outside of our limited perspective. Ideally, personality is an effective way to express ourselves, but challenges arise when our point of view becomes rigid and we get stuck in automatic habits. By discovering these unconscious patterns, we can lead more fulfilling lives, enjoy healthier relationships, and connect to our true essence.

There are several “tests” online, which help you identify your personality type. However, that alone is not the most helpful.

The “secret sauce” of knowing your Enneagram type, is for self awareness and personal growth. It is like looking into a three-way mirror and seeing all sides of oneself, especially the sides most visible to others.

The Enneagram opens a pathway to self-discovery, personal awareness, and increased emotional intelligence.

Working with the Enneagram allows individuals to gain a greater understanding of why they act and react the way they do, empowering them to take responsibility for their own behaviors and growth.

The Enneagram has proven to be one often most robust tools in the coaching environment.

If you’d like to learn more about yourself, your blind spots, and how to grow into mature person, I’d love to work with you in identifying your type. This includes your areas for growth and development, as well as your natural defaults and blind spots.
